PGCS 2023 Program Outline and Dates Confirmed.

For the 10th year Mosaic will be supporting the PGCS Symposium to be held in Canberra on the 22nd and 23rd August, followed by three international masterclasses on the 24th.

Built around the theme Competent people craft project success! The Symposium program features six Australian and international keynote speakers plus three streams:

1. Delivering complex projects and programs. This stream focuses on the challenges of delivering major projects and programs in a complex environment.

2. Controlling projects and programs. This stream focuses on the tools, techniques and technology needed to deliver successful projects and programs.

3. Governance and stakeholders. This stream focuses on designing and governing organizations to deliver the broader aspects of project and program success, including benefits realization, sustainability, and social and economic responsibility.

Project Governance and Controls Symposium 2015

6-7 May 2015 at UNSW Canberra at the
Australian Defence Force Academy

The Organising Committee are pleased to announce that the PGCS 2015 will be held on 6-7 May 2015 at the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) thanks to the continued platinum sponsorship provided by the University of New South Wales Canberra.

The PGCS is now the only Australasian symposium dedicated to promoting Project Performance Management and will again focus on the disciplines of project control, program, portfolio and project governance and management.

PGCS 2015 is calling for proposals for Knowledge Development and Practitioners in the field that engage with Project, Program and Portfolio (PPP) governance and control and project and program management.

Project Governance and Controls Symposium to Host Book Debut!

This year the PMGlobal Foundation are pleased to announce the Project Governance and Controls Symposium will host the Australian debut of Mark Phillips’s book entitled, ‘Reinventing Communication: How to Design, Lead and Manage High Performing Projects’. The launch will be a noteworthy event for delegates, set against the backdrop of The Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA), venue for the 2014 Symposium.

Reinventing Communication: How to Design, Lead and Manage High Performing Projects – Mr. Mark Phillips
Mr. Mark Phillips is the President of Standpipe Manager, Inc. a private, U.S. based consultancy delivering innovative program management services to industry and government. He is passionate about finding new ways to solve problems and inspire others. His ideas are in use in the U.S. Department of Defense which has said “Mark Phillips’ method…has the potential of being a game changer for successful program management teams.” His works has appeared in C|Net, eWeek and the Small Wars Journal. His book “Reinventing Communication: How to Design, Lead and Manage High Performing Projects” is forthcoming April 2014 from Gower Press. His sessions are highly interactive, focused specifically on addressing participants’ challenges. Mark is a board member of the College of Performance Management.
